Wake Me Up

I was at a fellowship group recentlly, we were all praying in tongues and the Spirit of God took over the space.

While there, praying and confessing the desires of my heart in an atmosphere where the Spirit of God can manifest itself. I confessed my desire for alignment and the manifestion of the power of God, in my ministry, career, personal life, health, family and all areas of my life and I felt the urge to just call upon the name of Jesus.

I recently listened to the song, “Something Happens” by Kurt Carr, one of the most powerful lines, to me, is;

“When I call upon Your name, the very atmosphere will have to change.”

I can’t beging to expain the atmosphere or the power I felt at work but I knew God was in the room. I started to cry out, “wake me up,” not sure what I was saying it for, but the longer it lasted the more it became apparent, I was talking to my inner man.

Wake Up, to the spirit on the inside of you, to be sensitive to the things of God, the work at hand, to the authority and power on the inside of you. Wake up to manifest ALL God has for us.

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

Then the Word goes on to say;

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I say this so you know, we were made first in the spirit and not in the flesh. When the Bible says, we were made in His perfect image, it is referring to our spirit man, our spirit has all the attributes of God and so we are to wake up our spirit by killing the flesh.

When your spirit wakes up, there is nothing impossible through the power of God made available to you.

When you come to a place where you begin to doubt, where your situation seems too hard, remember as long as your heart seeks to serve Him, and loves Him, He will cover you, guide you and provide for you all for His Righteousness sake.

It was never about you, God is not man that He should lie. Anything that aligns with who He is and His Word, He will do it for His names sake.

“Keep up your reputation, God—give me life! In your justice, get me out of this trouble! In your great love, vanquish my enemies; make a clean sweep of those who harass me. And why? Because I’m your servant.”

I pray‬ God will wake up your spirit, and that we will rise in His name and manifest the things of God on earth and all flesh will testify to the power and wonders of God, that He is truly the I AM that I AM and will do al He says He will do.‬
