Pray For Those In Authority

I am part of the multitude that are disappointed, frustrated and outraged not only by the result of these elections but mainly by the manner of them. However the Bible says be angry but do not sin. 

I am reminded of the responsibility as children of faith to act within the framework of righteousness especially in the midst of adversity. We have a duty to pray, intercede and even give thanks for all men, kings and those in authority, that we might have peace. So pray for Tinubu, let God do what God will do. 

I am forced to think of David & Saul. Saul was not God’s choice, but he was permitted by God. Saul lost his position before he was aware it was taken from him. 

Contrary to our eyes, the New Nigeria already is. David was anointed but not Year appointed and having every opportunity to bring down Saul dared not, but instead covered him. 

The transition is already in effect, NEW IS HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE HERE, but do as Christ requires, go the extra mile, pray for salvation of those dead in sin.

To cover someone does not mean to not hold accountable, but to know judgment is of the LORD.
